Meet the Farm Cats

Five friends. One big adventure.

Tiger Stripes, Ginger, Amber, Miko and Sage are the stars of our books — helping kids explore everything from planting seeds to spotting bugs.

Line drawing of the five Whisker Crew cats standing in a row: tall striped Tiger Stripes, plump Ginger, lean Amber, tiny Miko and patchy Sage

Tiger Stripes · Di Di

A tall, lean ginger tabby who rushes into every adventure — curious, food-motivated, and always leading Miko somewhere new.

Ginger · Duo Duo

Soft, round and sweet. Loves food and cuddles with humans, is a little blur — and does not like Tiger Stripes bouncing into her space.

Amber · Tong Tong

A gentle, sisterly ginger-and-white cat with little white socks, who follows her person everywhere — often with her well-loved toy mouse.

Miko

The smallest ginger tabby, with big upright ears. Young, playful, and always tagging along on Tiger Stripes' adventures.

Sage · Ah Meow

The calm grey-and-cream big sister. Quiet, independent, and likes doing things her own particular way.

The crew takes a seed all the way to harvest. Tiger Stripes wants everything to grow now — Sage teaches him patience.

Book 2

Bug Detectives

Pests & good bugs

Tiger Stripes chases every bug, with Miko close behind — until Amber shows them that ladybugs are friends.

Book 3

The Secret Garden Indoors

How indoor farming works

Miko explores the farm at night and discovers plants that grow under lights, with water and no soil.

Book 4

Duo Duo's Hungry Day

Food security

Food-loving Duo Duo imagines a day with not enough food — and the crew learns why growing food close to home matters.

Book 5

The Leftover Rescue

Food waste & compost

Sage has her own particular way of turning kitchen scraps back into rich soil.

Every Drop Counts

Our story

こだわる · kodawaru

We started out growing high-quality Japanese vegetables. The word on our logo, kodawaru, means caring about every detail — and it is how we have always farmed.

Today we bring that same care to teaching. Our farm is now a place where the next generation learns how food is grown, why it matters, and how to look after the earth.

Coming soon: fresh Asian salad greens, grown right here at Egomiko. Ask us about pre-orders.
